- Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.
- Mix and match paint colors using paint codes and computerized systems.
- Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat finishes using spray guns.
- Perform touch-ups and blending for seamless results.
- Inspect finished work for quality and ensure all paint meets OEM and shop standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety and environmental regulations (PPE, ventilation, disposal, etc.).
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive painter (collision repair or refinishing).
- Strong knowledge of PPG, BASF, or similar paint systems.
- Ability to perform color matching and refinishing to a high standard.
- Attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
